Vetting at a sanctuary is "maintenance for comfort," ensuring that a horse’s retirement is spent in dignity rather than silent suffering. Outside of emergencies, residents have required vaccinations and regular hoof care to support standard wellness.

Keeping our herd healthy and happy starts with the basics: high-quality hay. It is the most significant expense in our daily care routine, but it's also the most essential for their nutrition and well-being.
